Thirty years ago, our founder (and mom!) Donna combined her passion for designing leotards with her love for gymnastics and turned it into a business. Born, raised, and nurtured in the gym, Destira was founded on family values that remain at the forefront today.

Our high-quality girl's gymnastics leotards focus on perfect fit, positivity, and empowerment. With inclusive sizing, we strive to boost the self-esteem of every gymnast, so she feels confident with every step while in Destira. The tank styling's closed-back design is crafted for comfort and superior mobility, making it a timeless classic that works for every workout, including dance, swimming, cheer, and even yoga.

Destira leotards are made in the USA with a signature soft, nylon-spandex performance fabric that gymnasts of all ages love. This comfortable, durable, 4-way stretch spandex is lightweight and highly breathable, with superior flexibility. To maintain quality, hand wash these leotards inside out in cold water using a mild detergent and hang to dry. Do not use granular detergent, fabric softener, or bleach, and do not iron.

Each year, Destira partners with nonprofits and learning programs that benefit girls' empowerment, and we do our part to help the environment by thoughtfully sourcing and reusing resources, including the use of sustainable, environmentally friendly packaging made of 100% recycled material.

When it comes to sizing, gymnastics apparel is made to fit tightly. For room to grow or extra movement in the leotard, please size up. Our gymnastics leotards follow the national clothing standard sizes, so the size she wears in street clothes is a great reference point. Please do not size based on other brands, as size can vary.
